Sam Yang Joins JDO to lead bold vision in Shanghai and beyond

With nearly 20 years of experience in brand identity, strategy, and design, Sam is a visionary who’s going to take our work to the next level.

Sam’s career speaks for itself: He’s worked with global powerhouses like FutureBrand, Interbrand, Alibaba, and Fliggy. He’s led groundbreaking projects in brand development and creative direction, earning awards like the iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, and Transform Awards Asia-Pacific Gold.
Before joining JDO, Sam was Executive Creative Director at FutureBrand China, where he helped Chinese brands scale globally in industries ranging from aviation to food & beverage, tech, and finance. His arrival at JDO Shanghai will elevate our creative and strategic footprint in China and across the APAC region, allowing us to deliver fresh, culturally relevant, and globally impactful work.
